CASA Volunteer Spotlight: Meet Michelle VanDrunen

“I remain a CASA volunteer because I know I can make a difference.”

Michelle VanDrunen began volunteering with CASA in April of 2017.  She is a Bus Driver for Boone Grove School and she enjoys attending storage auctions where she buys and sells.

Regarding what drew her to CASA volunteering, Michelle expressed, “I decided to become a CASA Volunteer because the need for volunteers is so great. I feel I always have something to give no matter what.”

When asked about being a CASA she said, “One of my favorite things about being a CASA volunteer is being a part of an organization that is so passionate and caring toward at-risk youth.”  She added that, “seeing positive results for children and their families,” was something that was meaningful to her.  She shared, “I remain a casa volunteer because I know I can make a difference.”
