Court Appointed Special Advocates for Children
Children deserve safe and nurturing homes where they can thrive.
Our mission is to provide child-centered advocacy that leads to a safe, stable home and promising future for every child who is a victim of abuse or neglect.
CASA volunteers give voice to the needs of children in juvenile court proceedings and ensure that their best interests remain a priority in an overburdened child welfare system.
One Child, One Volunteer, One Future at a Time
As they grow, children who are victims of abuse and neglect are faced with a difficult path, complicated by the physical, psychological and emotional trauma they have experienced. Porter County CASA is here to advocate for their needs, to help change the trajectory of their lives.
Porter County CASA is a member of the National Court Appointed Special Advocate/Guardian ad Litem (CASA/GAL) Association for Children that recruits, trains, and supports citizen volunteers to advocate for children who are victims of abuse and neglect.
In Porter County, CASA is a program of the Family & Youth Services Bureau.
